Well I've been away from home for most of the year (working). But I'm home for about 2-4 weeks. I have been doing body work on my comet, prepping for paint. I have been ordering parts and having them sent to my house for the motor. All I need now for it is timing set and oil pan, gaskets just got here yesterday. Oh ya, found out that Jegs sent me the wrong headers, bummer. Anyone have any suggestions on a good set of those that wont break the bank? I'm also looking for a set of gt40 heads that will work on my 69 block. What size rear wheel can I get on this thing? My rims have 3.5 offset and are 8 wide for the rear. I was thinking maybe 275/60 15. Well thats about all Ive got for now. Please pm me if you have set of ready to bolt on gt40 heads laying around

I try not to think that much after I leave work, If I was still there If think of some answers. only thing I got for now is I like Hedman headers, not too expensive if you stay away from ceramic. And last time I was at the pick n pull on 27th ave by Ecology they had a 96 Explorer which would be ripe to have the heads taken off and only cost about $100. I usually only see the guys take the manifolds and not the heads too often at the junkyards cause they take alot of time.
Yes there are alot of questions! And that is the date I'm shooting for. I'm really temted to just shoot my car with paint and throw some tires on it and driving it there. Less than 2 weeks to put the motor together and paint. I can do the paint in a weekend, but getting the motor done and in is gonna be pushing things hard. I really want to come and see what all you guys have done to your cars and get some fresh ideas. I know some of ya have some really cool interiors. 27th ave, mmm have to check that out I hope I'm off sat.
