It's not a direct swap...You will have to take the collar and turn signal switch from the 72 and put it on the 74. They use different key tumbler also. I don't know if the manual collar will swap with an automatic collar. Notice the width of the tongue on the tumbler and the slot for the emergency flasher switch. The turn signal switch has a different size plug too.
