Im using the cherry bomb pros and love the way they sound. Not to mention they are cheap.

Flowmasters are my muffler of choice. Good rumble at idle, nice sound at town driving speed, and they're not totally obnoxious going down the highway.

a flowmaster 40 would be nice as long as you stay stock or near stock with your exhast manifolds, and exhast pipes. if you start puting headers and biger pipeing in it will get louder. a 50 series in my opinion has a cleaner sound than the 40s and is not going to be too loud as you modify. with the stock stuff any perfromance muffler will give you a rummble and not be too loud.

going to dual will be louder, give you more top end perfomance, it may get you beter gas milage depeding on your stock systems restrictiveness. i would recomend 2 1/4" exhast.

Here is a 1973 Comet with a stock 302 and Flowmaster 40s on it. It's mine, I just did this.
