I have a 3 speed toploader in my 74 grabber. I have nearly all the electrical issues sorted out but have hit a snag. When the transmission linkage comes toward the back of the car it misses the switch. I've taken the switch and bracket off and it doesn't seem to be bent. I've attached a picture but is there supposed to be a foot or something attached to this switch to increase the surface area so the switch will actually be depressed? In my case it won't contact the linkage and I don't think there's a way to bend the bracket to make that happen. Any ideas or advice?
