8 point roll cage question ????

    Hi guys, I plan to put 8 point roll bar in my 72 maverick,,, any of you have one in street machine, i want to keep the rear seat and also the front door arm rest,,did you put kit from allston or competition enginering or jegs,,, any of you have picture,,, thanks

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    If you have a cage built by a pro...He can do what ever you need/want and still be in spec for racing.The ktis are sorta one size fits all and to keep the rear down bars out of the seat you will have to have em bent up for you unless the kit specifies that the down bars wont go through the seats.     I used a competition engineering kit thats made for a bunch of different cars. If you want it to fit and not be intrusive just have one made.

    Look up at the bars going into the trunk ... no problems putting the seat in ! hope that helps u out !

    Nice job on the cage. I like how the rear bars are high and tight. You might actually be able to get a small person harnessed in back there safely. Can you get more pics. I'd like to see the mounting location in the trunk as well as the main hoop and mounting locations.
