    Crites has almost the best prices i've seen on the scoops, not exactly original though but you'll have to drill holes anyway. I think they advertise for $79

    Yeah, check Crites Restorations first.
    The scoop is for Cougar, Comet, Cyclone, and probably some others.
    Apparently the bolt pattern changed some between vehicles, because the pattern is not stock Comet. However the outside looks identical.

    On the rear spoiler, you definately don't want to look at Stangs if you are looking for a Mav/Comet specific spoiler. Your best bet on the 'ducktail' or Grabber spoiler is:
    * Our for sale forum
    * eBay
    OR
    * www.maverickman.com for a fiberglass or carbon fiber repop.

    The Maverick/Comet front chin spoiler can be had from MAS... Crites might carry them too, I forgot.
    I have heard 73 owners say that the valance on that one year is different enough that the spoilers don't fit well. But I have also heard of some 73 owners using them without issue...:huh: You'll have to check into that for yourself.

    I have heard that the standard 69 Stang chin spoiler will work too, but don't know details, especially on a 73.

    If you are looking for the rear wing spoiler, just remember that different years and models had differences in height and width!

    Yes.
    Cougar Eliminator, Cyclone, and Comet all had the same scoop...
    Identical from the outside anyway. Like posted before, the bolt patterns seem to vary.

    bolt pattern probably wont make a diffrence since your going to need to drill out your hood for it anyway.

    good luck. i really think those scoops look great

    even on a maverick :)
