    hey,
I have a 76 inline 250 and just need to know what the stock alternator voltage is as well if anyone knows what size the rear end is, Just got my maverick back after my dad borrowing it for three years and he thrashed it so I am trying to get it back to solid, any help with this stuff would be awesome thanks

Alternator voltage??? it outputs 12 Volts DC.... Rear end is 8" 5 lug. The rear gear in the rear end can be read on a little metal tag on the rear axle center section. The identification plate on the car can be decoded to tell you all of this info!!!

    I hope this helps you!

With the car running the voltage should show somewhere around 14.0-14.5 volts.

Just tell them the highest amp they offer. Lot of them came with very low amp alternators such as 37 or 45 but the higher the better. Your car will handle it.
