Guess I'll have to be the buzz kill here but I hope it was not anybody on this site doing that street racing and I hope my family was no where around that race.
I would hate to have to hunt down somebody on this site and break their neck for killing one of my family members in a street race.
    Nice car though

I agree 100%. Get caught racing up here and your car is gone. When the law first came out about 2 years ago they confiscated a few rice burners and crushed them. Used the remains in some public awareness type campaigns.

I like to have fun as much as the next guy, don't get me wrong. I am sure I could have gotten several tickets or worse over the last couple of years with my 460 Powered F100 leaving stop lights a bit faster than I should just to show up the kid next to me in his rice rocket but I never went over the speed limit doing it and never let the truck get sideways or anything like that.
All out street racing is just stupid. There are way too many drag strips all across the country to do you racing at.
I guess have a wife that was a Paramedic Crew Chief the last 14 years has some effect also as She was always telling me about her DAY when she got home. Heard of several families getting hurt or killed in the area because of some punk street racing.

I hear ya. My brother and father are Paramedics and my wife is a nurse. Get to hear a lot of stories with bad endings. Makes you realize how quickly things can pull a 180 on you.
Some happy endings though. My brother delivered a baby couple of months ago. :thumbs2:
