Anyone using this setup for their T5? If so, did you get the 65-66 Mustang unit or the 67-73 Mustang unit? Any problems adapting to the Maverick?

That looks pretty neat. Is it a Wilwood product?

It would seem as the L shaped bracket rotates CCW, it would straighten out the piston pushrod along with the pedal pushrod.

From what I'm reading about it, it allows use of the existing clutch rod hole through the firewall. This makes install easier and puts the master in a better spot than higher up. Also, having the lever action on the master greatly reduces pedal effort.

Thats a pretty nice setup. I think I'm eventually going to do a hydraulic clutch. I'll keep this in mind. I'm also curious which kit is best with a maverick.

Wonder why the Maverick one is $40 more? Sure would like to know what is different from the Mustang or all the other kits.

    :hmmm:

Eric, did you end up buying this kit from Mustang Depot / Modern Driveline? Just curious...

Not yet but I'm leaning towards this set up. Due to a couple set backs, I won't be up to the clutch work until spring. I will update this thread when I get it.

    :thumbs2:

that is a smoking deal I bought a McLeod kit (willwood cylinder) 600.00 I think I had one shop do some work and they charged me 750 (install) the pedal was too hard so another shop charged me 750.00 to ease the pedal. well it worked. I paid them 750.00 to bend the rod and mount it 1/2 inch higher. needless to say I will be purchasing the modern driveline kit and swapping it out myself.

I will have just under 2500.00 (including clutch) in my car solely to have a stick car... (this must explain why I have spent more money building my car than most people) I must be some kinda special retard, but hey... I am ok with it.
