I hope you don't mind, but over the past couple of years I've come to view this board as a comfortable place to hang out, and as the lot of you collectively as some sort of 'cyber family'. Weird? What can I say. Am I the only one that finds it harder then ever to develop a close relationship with another guy?...you know; the kind of friendship were you can talk about more personal things than just beer and baseball? In any case, I felt the need to let you in on a bit of a crisis I'm going thru, and to ask that if any of you are 'believers', could you please put in a word for me? I just found out that I have a large tumour on, or right beside my liver. The doctor feels, for a variety of reasons, that it's probably malignant, and that it has to come out a.s.a.p., which is January 27th. Beyond that, I don't know; it will depend on what they find when they are in there. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my request. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'll let you know how it turns out, if that's o.k. Till later; John B.

John; you will be in my prayers, with a hope for a speedy and complete recovery. You are right, we have a great little community, and I am sure we are all behind you.

There's no reason I can think of that your request should offend anyone, John. Prayer can make a big difference in the lives of those who believe in it. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers too.

    prayer

Prayer is a wonderful thing, it is amazing how it gets overlooked until a crisis occurs, me included. I went through this similiar situation w/ my sister, she pulled out of it w/flying colors only to have her 18 year old daughter to have the same problem 2 monthes later. All turned out great, STAY POSITIVE, and keep your Faith my thoughts and prayers are with you. Chandler

You WILL be in our prayers daily, and on the prayer list at church.

We are all here for each other!
