assist to manual?

    Would any of you guys do this?

    I'm definitely taking out the power assist, this might be a good way to switch back in a later time too if i ever want to.

    Opinions??

    Thats actually a borgeson part(well a picture of one atleast probably a direct knockoff), it came in my power steering gearbox conversion make sure you get the right one for our cars. The borgeson is made allot better then some of the other ones that have shown up.

    But honestly knowing how they are held together in the near future I am going to go with a manual center link and pitman arm and remove the potential problem area. I cant tell you how it works with the stock power steering box but I will say my power steering works great.:thumbs2:

    I converted mine to manual steering from power, keeping the power gearbox. It's not that hard to turn, even while stopped. Once you start moving, it's not difficult enough to justify going to a manual box.
