Hey, there was a bunch of us that were talking about a meet and greet and cruise in Utah, and I think it is about time to do this. Lets discuss thee best days and locations for everyone and plan it for later this month or early next month.

For me, I work Friday and Saturday night. That might click with most others, but a Sunday stroll is best for me.

yeah sounds good to me i have class tuesday-thursday nights right now. i'm pulling my motor next weekend and replacing a few parts so i shouldn't have a problem driving out of the valley. so lets work it out we should try and meet up at one of the jc hacket cruise nights. i think it would be great to have 4 mavs at a cruise night. here is a link to the calender events.

I didn't see any events that seemed to fit. I'm down for any time, just waiting for others to reply. My only stipulation is Sunday, monday, tuesday. With evenings getting longer maybe an evening would work? I work wed through sat nights.

Im in for it whenever just give me a little advanced warning. Right now im on swings so monday-thursday evenings are out. Maybe plan a sunday evening meet here pretty quick.
But like I said advanced warning is a must, im getting ready to tear my car apart and start working on all the projects I have been stockpiling up over the winter... you know I got this new borgeson power steering box I have been tripping over for the past couple months and I am just getting anxious to put it in and thats going to potentially take my car down for a couple days atleast,.. that is if it doesnt take me a week to do it..:thumbs2:

How does April 8 @ 3pm @ Maverick Center sound? Make sure your car is clean and shiny and we'll get some pics in front of the Maverick Center signs. Then we can go on a little cruise? Maybe go to Simply Sushi, for some great tasting all you can eat sushi?

that sounds good to me but i would suggest a sushi place called ichi-ban sushi on state street. it tastes a lot better then simpley sushi and the rolls are half price. so basic rolls are 2.50 and they got really good chinease food but i'm good whith what ever.

I am fine with that. I just can't afford full price sushi...can get so expensive so quick. But that might me more fun anyway. We could cruise through downtown and feel like we look cool cruising in our Mavericks.

:) I need to do a few things to my car first and I'm fighting off depression rearing its ugly head most of you know what I'm talking about when you live by yourself or your live with your girlfriend then her son temporarily moves in for awhile and that while lasts for months. I know he won’t live with his dad because he can’t get away with the crap he does with his mom letting him do what he wants. Which is why I’ve been gone awhile from posting.

So far its good for me if you guys dont mind me bringing my tag alongs down for a bit(wife and 3 little kids i dont get to see my family enough being on this stupid swing shift) she wants to go check out the new City Creek Center. That and it gives the couple of us from up north a chase vehicle in case something goes wrong...always gotta prepare for the worst:thumbs2:

Of course I can have her bring her big camera down and get some good pics...It works for me I like it when she uses that big cannon camera that way I dont feel robbed since I spent all that money on it and it sits in the case most of the time :rofl2:

The only issues I might have is I might have a wedding to go to that weekend, it the inlaws so It would be a major guilt trip if I didnt go, but my wife cant remember if its that weekend or the weekend before.
And most of all my car isnt shiney it primered right now, Still doing allot of fixes/changes here and there on the body so it wont be shiney that and I am not 100% on what color I want to paint it right now but i will put a fresh coat of black on since its faded in some spots.:thumbs2:

yeah there are only 4 members that i can think of that are at least semi-active on the board, including myself. some of my early posts from 10 years ago (wow it's been that long) were asking for other utah members. it should be good i'm putting my motor back in the mav this week and deffinatly should have it running before april 8th. it should be fun and to take pic's at the maverick center will be a hoot.
