Hey how do you all get the c4 kick down rod to work with the old 289 torker intake and a holley 4bbl? It seems to be about an inch too short now.. are there any adjustments or anything?

Holley makes a Ford kickdown extension kit or you can switch over to a Lokar cable type kickdown

You might try cutting the kick down rod with a pipe cutter. Use a piece of wood dowel rod of the proper size. It might require some sanding. Use epoxy glue to make sure it doesn't come apart. Paint with aluminum paint and it will look good as new.
