Hi I haven't been on here in a while. Maverick has been down for a while repainted the whole thing, shaving engine bay, redoing interior etc etc.

I plan on keeping the stock motor in it for a while which is a 250. I want to go to a manual transmission this time around though. Theres a c4 in it right now. What exactly do I need to do this?

What transmission do I use to have a hydraulic clutch? Ive searched and see that the t5 is but will that bolt right up to my 250 or what bell housing and clutch and flywheel will I have to use to make this work?

Im going Tilton floor mount pedals so thats not an issue but trying to figure how to make this all work.

    Thanks in advance

The transmission doesn't care...the clutch is in the bellhousing. Decide what bellhousing you want to use then go from there

Honestly if I can just get everything for the t5, like transmission, bellhousing and clutch fork and bearing that would make it easier but will that bolr right up to my motor or will I have to use some sort of adapter?

And will my stock driveshaft work with this?

you will need a 250 flywheel because the engine has 0 oz imbalance in comparison to the 28/50 oz of the v8.
the 250 bolts to the sbf bell, so get the bell with the t5 transmission.

the clutch should match your flywheel, but needs the correct spline on the clutch disc. i have never done the swap on a 250, but you should be able to use a v8 clutch. might want to check fordsix.com to be sure.
