Well, I've been looking long and hard at all of the members around here, and I would just like to send out an award to Mavaholic, for having the most posts on here and and also contributing years of knowledge and wisdom to the board. (Not that everybody else hasn't contributed a lot of information to the board, it's just that he has the most posts on here, and I was reallllllly bored.) So Congratz to Mavaholic David p.s. I hope I'm not overstepping any bounds here, Stefan....
Mavaholic is a post wh*re. (and entertaining, and nawligable, and so on and so on,,,,,) It's good to have peeps like him in here. He and others help make it one of the most enjoyable websites I visit. This has been an unrehearsed commercial.
Well deserved Having met "mavaholic" for the first time this past weekend I will have to say he is a "Cool Dude" as we referred to people back in the 70's. He has a lot of information and doesnt mind sharing it. Not to mention one of the Sweetest cars I have ever seen.If My wife and I didnt get on his nerves asking "stupid Questions "this weekend then nobody ever will .Take a bow Dennis and quit blushing . I probably had the most posts here when the site was in its infancy...including getting into flame wars with idiots who thought they knew everything when in reality knew about as much as the Chevy-guy in that other thread, and just being an a-hole in general. Then I took a break for a couple of years and the site has grown nicely with many knowledgable members and just generally cool people who own Mavericks & Comets. Definitely give the award to Dennis. Craig would have to be my choice for runner up, cuz Craig's my hero. And then there's Stefan....well he's just damn COOL...
I'll take that cat.....can never get in too much target practice........opps..gotta run...that darn intervention team is knocking at the door again.
I vote for Dennis the cool dude if i knew a fraction of what Dennis knows about these cars i would be a lot smarter. COOL DUDE DENNIS
Dennis is a good guy! I remember last year at the round-up when I took Neal for a ride, when I pulled back into the hotel parking lot, there was Dennis, with a big smile on his face, I looked at him and said "I guess you want a ride" he looked at me like a kid in a candy store and saiud "hell yeah I want a ride". I agree with T.L. this board has changed alot over the last 5-6 years and its all been for the better. When I first started getting on here I was afraid to post a question cause there was a couple guys that really knew how to make people feel like a dumba$$. But the truly good people have hung around. There is so many people on this board with soooooooo much knowledge that it humbles guys like me. I am thankful that all the smart ones that are on here now are cool enough to be patient with us with less knowledge and help me and others out! Here is my honorable mention list of those that have helped me a bunch! If I forget anyone, please forgive me. *Dennis Martin (I did help him once, had to use my muscle to "POP" a lock) *Craig Selvey (who is a really funny guy when you put a walkie-talkie in his had.) *Dan Starnes (super great guy, who's Stallion has seen ALOT of looks over the years....but I think he's got it right this time!) *Doug Bauer (What a great guy!
