Badge/label from Gas cap remove?

    Hi guys!

    So I have 2 gas caps. Even without rust with faded stickers and even with a lot of rust and good sticker. How do I get this sticker down without damaging it? I thought maybe on a low heat in the oven?

    I took one off with heat once. If I remember correctly there are 3 or so short tabs that insert into the cap around the edges.

    One test with the bad sticker i have. I will try it with a hair dryer.
