Do you mean the upper control arm bushings? The ones inside the shock tower? If so, you'll need to buy the smallest 90's you can find, or a aftermarket kit for Mustangs, or drill holes in your shock towers.

not the bushings the balljoints. if you look at my old balljoint the grease fitting was a 90 fitting the new one is straight so i cant grease the upper balljoint through the side of the a-frame anymore....and also the baljoint will not fit in the a-frame all the way flush to bolt it in ..........

Swipe the zerk fittings off the old ones(they should just un screw)As for the ball joint not fitting in the hole on the A-arm.You may have been given the wrong ones.Or something is interfearing with the fittment.Make sure tho a arm hole is clean and nothing is bent.If all looks good and they just dont seat properly, they are probably incorrect for your application.Do they look like the old ones??? Same dia. same overall length etc...??

the hole alignment is perfect it is the flange on the balljoint it is a little bigger.....and it looks different than the old one not much but some .as far as the right one orallys said that it was the right part number for my car. bumper to bumper had the same part number as the one i got at orallys....my neighbor races round track and he said i could grind a little of the flange and it would work fine but i really dont think i sould have to do that to a new part but i guess i might do it anyways.........

If you put the ball joint in, then screw the fitting on after, does it work?

If it fits and the flange is the only problem(intefearance with a-arm??)bolt holes line up and all that.Clearance the flange so it sits flush/only remove what you need to get it to fit.It should be fine.I agree you shouldnt have to if its meant for your app.Unfortunately some components are meant to cover a wide range of cars within one manufactuerer or line and therefor some issues do arise and must be dealt with as such.Good luck.

I would not grind them.......take them back and get the correct ones. You may even have to go to a different store.

My car never had holes torched in the shock towers, and I wanted to keep it that way. The control arms weren't greased. Anyway they started squeaking, so I bought some 90 degree fittings from NAPA. But the only way they will fit is the control arm has to be off the car, otherwise they won't fit I tried. I looked around online and found these, and they were exactly what I needed. Although it was a big jump in price, because the NAPA ones were only $5 had to take them back since they wouldn't work.

Take them back and get the correct ones. If they sell Moog products, correct ones are part # K8142. I buy nothing but Moog parts. Everything else is cheap Chinese knock offs in my opinion.

I have seen where the box has the right part number but the wrong part inside the box. Return them and do like Dennis said get the Moog Brand.
