Last night i was at a classic car cruise with my daughters and two guys walked by my Comet, stopped, looked, then made a comment or two. Now i seen them stop and seen them talking but did not hear what they said. As they walked away to look at the other cars i asked my daughter what the one guy said- and here is what he said------- , " Look at the size of those bumpers!" Did they even see the rest of the car? So with that in mind i'll ask you guys--------- Should i make the move and change to the small bumpers or what, cause hell i can't decide and i have been thinking about this for a long time, this one guys comment just got me thinking about it again!:tiphat:

I voted for the small bumpers. They just blend into the car's overall design better in my opinion.

I voted small just because I like the small look and personally Id rather use a nova for a park bench then my Comet.

The big bumpers are only good for pushing Chevy's off the road anyway. I vote small.

I dont have a problem with big chrome bumpers if they fit the car. Late model Torino etc. They just dont fit our little cars. An add on by Ford because they had to do it.

each comes with a different cost factor bumper tuck is cheapest and them 73 bumper and small bumpers cost the most because how much all the parts are to change everything over,, big cost that is my thought for what it is worth

I personally like both large and small bumpers on the Maverick. I know 99% of the guys here like the smaller bumpers, but I'm in the autobody business and I know what happens to a small bumpered Maverick or Comet when it gets hit in the front or rear. BIG repair bucks, baby.
Ulitmately the choice is up to you. If you prefer the smaller bumpers, then go for it. What matters most is what you like better.

Just think Carey with small bumpers it would be easier to park! Plus i don't think Larry's cherry picker is long enough to reach over that bumper to put the 302 in!!
