    I think

I think that mavericknutt has a 429, but I could be wrong. Also, there has been talk/pics of a 460 maverick. Country

I've seen several leaf spring cars running that fast but it takes alot of work.....the trick is adjustability and leaf springs don't allow much of that. My car is full interior, street legal and 3000 lbs. with me in it and has the stock suspension except for good shocks and cal trac bars. My best so far is a 6.34 @ 112 mph. (1/8th) I am battling the rear suspension to get into the 5's and to get my sixty foot time down into the mid 1.30's. Go to this link http://www.farmingtonmotorsportspark.com/gallery/2003/091303/
and click on the ssca shootout gallery. My car is the bright blue one!!:D I didn't know it until later but this launch is with a broken passenger side leaf spring!!
