The issue I have is they do not list the exact components you will get. For the price I am betting that they will lower end foreign made parts. It all depends on what you are looking for and how you plan on driving it.

I am sure the motors are ok because jegs and summit carry them but I don't have any first hand knowledge of their quality and dependability.

I'm not positive.. but I believe I've seen a few of those motors(Chevy's) running around in lower budget rods over in St. Paul.

It's sometimes tricky to find a decent and reliable rebuilder if you live out in the sticks.. but for anyone living in larger metro areas.. I always recommend custom built engines from a reputable builder. Many give you a warranty and if you ever have issues. you take it back there for repair. Not sure what Blueprint's warranty/return policy is.. but it may be more of a hassle to deal with in the long run. Would be like comparing a store based warranty compared to a manufacturer warranty. Both are there to protect your investment.. but one is just easier to deal with, is all.

    Good luck with it.

PS. Many larger engine shops now offer turn-key packages that can be customized to order and also include limited warranties too. Especially the lightly warmed over versions with mild cams and typical bolt-ons.
