I have just received from my step dad his first car, a 1973 Ford Maverick with the stock 302 but the down side is he bought the car in 74 used and drove it till 76 and parked it in his yard. till this day it has not moved from that spot but my grandfather has started it once a week for the last 5 years because he had plans of restoring it but my grandmother passed away and since then my grandfather has not had any interest in working on it and told my step dad he could haul it home and so my step dad gave it to me. the engine is on it runs like a top, it only has 65,000 miles on it but the body is beat to hell, it has rust holes that i can fit my head into and my plan was to cut the rust out , weld sheet metal in the rust hole, grind the welds off and apply bondo, or fiberglass but with being 17 and my senior year ahead of me i dont really have any time for all of that so i was wondering if anyone had the right and left front fenders, both divers and passenger side doors and a trunk lid off of a 73. i dont think i have any options for the rear quarter panels except welding and grinding them. so if anyone can help me i would appreciate it greatly. Jake
I also have a 73 that i have been working on during my senior year. I just bought a 69.5 that I am taking parts from for my 73 but i will also be parting it out so let me know if you are interested.
I have a 77 that I would sell and you can use all your stuff on that car to make a nice ride. PM me if you are interested
