Can anyone tell me where to find the brake light switch for a 75 maverick, I did not see any wires going to the master cylinder so it is probably under the dash, my Chiltons does not have it, or so I can't find it. I did check the bulbs they are fine, but the other day when I was putting it in the garage the brake lights stayed on I pumped the brake peddle and they went out, the other day when stopping my son behind me said they were not working and he was right, anyhelp much appreciated. Marty

    One in the column too....

When my brake lights quit, I changed the one under the dash, but wound up having to change the one in side the steering comumn too. That lil' booger was expensive. Hopefully your's will be under the dash, and it is not an expensive part. Don't remember what I paid, but it was cheap. Good Luck.... Preston
