On a 1971 maverick on top of the Proportioning valve or what looks like a proportioning valve is a electric switch. Does any know what it does and where i can find one. The car has drum brakes all the way around so i wouldnt have thought that it had a proportioning valve????

The switch is for the brake warning light, and turns on the light if you lose pressure on one side of your brake system. I think autokrafters has 'em, im sure you could find 'em somewhere else too, i think they are pretty much standard issue bendix parts.
