brakelines/ rear shoes

    Running new brakelines. Do they have to go the same route as originals. Bought straight lines thinking I could shorten the route some if you know what I mean. Had the rear apart way too long and the memory is way too short. Which shoe goes to the front short or long?:hmmm:

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Line length wont have an effect on brake performance.Diameter will though soo... stick with the original dia for the lines and run em however you want.Yup what gene said...small shoe(primary) allways goes to the front.
