Saw a Maverick today behind my local Rescue Squad building. I figure their going to use it to train members with, so I stopped to see how rough it was. Body was very bad but the car did have a 6 cylinder, auto tranny with floor shifter and bucket seats. Should I contact someone to see if I can get the seats and tracks or are they very hard to find?? I hat to see a Maverick (probably) destroyed but I understand that people need cars to train on. Let me know what you think!!

I would ask what is the worse they can say, no. They usually have the cars donated so selling something off of it maybe a grey area. If anything tell them you will swap a seat in it for them

Go pick up a junker from someone's back yard and swap them straight up.
Offer a small donation to their fund to get parts off.
Give the Chief a 12pk of Bud.
    Visit the car at night.
    Etc...

Hell yeah, see if you can get some parts from it. I know I would be interested in the seat tracks, floor shifter and shifter hump if you decide not to use them.

    Hi Chandler,
I am needing one for my Sprint. Not sure if they changed over the years or not, so it it fits, that's good enough for me. I know I don't need the hump to put in the shifter, but I would like to have it. norcalmavnut(at)hotmail.com
