I have always leaned toward chrome. but recently, I have seen some that look good painted.

Mine are good cores, but need to be rechromed. So, to keep them from rusting between now and when I can afford the chrome, I need to paint them. I am leaning toward glossy black paint for the current time. Not sure what color the car will be when I am done....

Here is fan2488s car. Seen it in person several times, and got me thinking that black for the short term, or maybe longer, might be neat.

And, since my recently added bobcat lights are black...

Saw one recently with the bumpers the same color as the car...pretty cool too!

I like both chromed and body color painted bumpers. When I get the parts for the bumper swap I think I'm going body color with the rear bumper and chromed at the front since the hood and fender lip molding would look wrong with a painted bumper (unless you painted the moldings too, like a stallion).

The tucked in '73 front bumper looks awesome! I've seen another '73 tucked bumper mav in MaverickMan's site, and it looks cool. (y)
