So, the chrome on my front bumper is very good. The problem is with the back bumper. There is a patch where the chrome is gone, and I've sanded it down already. What I'm wondering is should I paint just the back bumper silver, both bumpers silver, or paint them both body color. My car is a 74 comet and i'm doing the bumper conversion.

Garland, TX, eh? C'mon up into Richardson sometime and see my Pinto project. ON your question - I would definitely make both the same color, more likely silver than body color, but it's all personal taste!!

both the same for sure! if you are gonna paint, then paint body color. the silver doesn't look to hot unless there is a really good silver paint out there.

Chrome 'em and not paint 'em. And that chrome paint stuff looks pretty good i must say.

That is the closest to real chrome in a can I have seen yet.
If the front chrome on yours is still good I would buy the kit and paint your back bumper with it.
