I have a c-4 that acts like it jumps completely out of gear like when you come to a stop and began to accelerate from the stop just a few feet sfyter the car starts moving it revs up like I have thrown it up in neutral and it doesn't last but a few seconds and jumps back in gear.this isn't a everyday problem it just shows up every once and a while any help with determing the issue here thanks
Loose valve body bolts can cause weird issues as can low fluid... Otherwise as mentioned probably getting close to rebuild time... BTW any chance the manual linkage is preventing it from being completely in drive???
possibly could be the linkage the shifter came out of a late 70,s mustang,i really don't think it needs a rebuild that tranny isn't that old it had a fresh build a couple of yrs ago it doesn't slip it just acts like its been taken out of gear,maybe ill tinker around with the linkagefirst
