    Where the hinge bolts to the car takes 3 bolts. Where the hinge bolts to the door I have seen 2 bolt and 3 bolt versions. Even with that....I think they are interchangeable.

    The rear bottom door hinges on a 4-door are different than the front door hinges. The front door hinges are the same on both 2 and 4-door

    Door hinge attaching plate

    Hi yall;
    Speaking of door hinges, how do you retrieve the plate that is in the frame after it falls from the place it was? Once I removed the bottom hinge to install new bushings and pins, the threaded plate inside the frame that the hinges bolt to fell to the bottom! Is this normal? What is the easiest way to put it back where it goes? Thanks guys.

    Remove the kick panel and put the plate back where it goes.

    Thanks for the response. I have to admit, I feel kind of stupid. Once I removed the kick panel and saw the access hole, it was like, "DUH"! There it is! PLenty of room for my big hands. I'm sure I will have lots more dumb questions for you guys as this project progresses.
