hay every one,i was just wondering if i could use one of the wider rear ends out of a 67-70 mustang. i'm going to be using 14x7 magnum 500's with a 205/70 tire, for temporary use ( going to use 17x8 mustang bullit wheels ) probably 2-3 months. and want to know if i will have a problem with the stock wheels untill i switch to the bullit wheel's ?..... thank's for any and all help.

The mustang rear will bolt right in with no problems. I believe it is 1" wider but the spring perch dementions are the same as a Maverick.

    Hey Dave!
Nope, you have to use the Mav leafs. They are longer than the Mustang ones.

Stock wheels wont be a problem. Newer wheels may be, depended on the back spacing and tire you select.

is it best to stick with the leaf or go to coil over, i want to stick with leaf but some of my friends think its better to go to coil over and cheaper too. but i dont see it.

Getting new leaf springs ($120) is much cheaper, and easier than custom making and fabricating a whole coil over system...

    Great, thanks!

Did you order stock height or an adjustment up or down?

I got mine at the same place. I ordered 3 leafs and it still raised the rear 2 inches over how it was. I had to get lowering blocks to get it back to what I like.
