can i use black rtv gasket maker for windshield

    I just installed my winshield and back window with new weatherstriping can I use rtv black slicone gasket maker instead of buytl sealer

    The gasket sealer dries, and when it does it shrinks, so it will leak, and will be very difficult to get off when doing it again. Use the butyl sealer.

    Most RTV's, when mixed will actually burn......I know for a FACT that GM's RTV will not mix with the orange/red....It atcually starts to burn
