Hey guys! got a question for you all

I'm going to be switching the carb out with a new one, someone here gave me a kit that would work, but i'm also woundering if this would work.. I drive a 72 comet 302

    here is the kit
    http://paceperformance.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=217846

From what i'm told though the kit needs an air cleaner eliment and linkage, any one able to point me in the direction where i can find the ones that i need? I don't know how to tell what would work, and what wouldn't work. Thanks for the help!

Yes that that kit would work for your application. You can get it cheaper though if you dont get the endurashine coating on them... both would be about $450 at summitracing.com for the natural finish. for 20 bucks more you can get the performer rpm intake instead of the performer 289. the linkage you'll probably need is the ford automatic kickdown. part number EDL-1483 for use on the 1406 600 cfm carb. Yes, you'll need to buy an air cleaner assembly. you can get that anywhere.

    hope that helps.

Awesome! Thats the exact help i needed :)

So when these kits say Linkage Included:No
It means i need a throttle lever adapter?
I'm looking at a lot of universal air filters and housings now, thank you for the help. I just wanted to make sure that most any housing and filter would do.
