I just purchased/imported a classic Mustang from Canada to keep the Maverick company.

I've calculated that the odometer is currently in kilometers.

I'd like to convert the ratio so that the odometer will record in miles instead.

As far as I know its just a matter of swapping out a gear in the transmission somewhere?

Does the transmission have to come out to perform such an operation? Is it even worth it?

That will throw off the speedo.
You'll have to replace the odometer I do believe...
