I have this problem with the fuse that is in between all the wiring of the charging system. It keeps blowing. This car is new to me and i'm not sure where to start, i've changed out the alternator and the voltage regulator. But I think that that's not the problem.. any ideas?

You have not given enough information.
What fuse are you referring to?
A fuse blows because it passes to much current over it's rating, indicating a problem on the circuit it feeds.
This is not an alternator problem.

Right and wrong Bluegrass. Some late models have a fuse for the alternator circuit. Old school stuff doubtful and non existant as far as I know. He never specified what kinda car just that it was new to him. Like Bluegrass said need more info.:) Starting with Type of car and were the fuse really is. Is it a fuseable link or a fuse. They do the same thing but they are different and might lead a clue as to what circuit is shorted.

I'll take a picture of it tomorrow.. it's like on the wires that come from the alternator, and voltage regulator and battery... and it's causing my 'ALT' light to come on....
