    Under no circumstances should you cut your shock towers and leave them open. If you're going to do it, you'd better do it just like that article shows. If you take the cheap and easy way out, I sure as hell don't want to be driving behind you when your car starts breaking apart.

    if you're gonna cut 'em out, it wouldnt take much more time to go ahead and fab some plates to fill in. That way the weight will be distributed the way it was designed, or real close to it.

    Took less than 2 hours to cut/fill mine. Easy job.

    anyone else notice the picture at the top of the page on the link he posted? Interesting that Fordmuscle magazine has a Maverick on the top of their page.
