    I have a 72 Mav, 2 door, classic Brady-bunch copper-brown, 250 automatic.

I live in a pretty up-scale city and I drive downtown to work in my suit every day next to new Land Rovers, Porsche's, Mercedes & BMW's everywhere..
I'm a young single dude, but I'm unlike my friends who are driving those types of cars....Of course its to impress the ladies - and it actually works. Frankly there's alot of pressure for me to change my loyal Mav ways...

    However..

How would a new black paint job go with a brown interior? Opinions?

As my Dad always told me, "people do not have the power to bother you, as much as, you have the power to let them." Never let anyone influence you into doing something you don't want to do. Maybe they are just jealous that you have the balls to be different.

Any women who dates a guy just for what he drives will not be there in the long run. She will be gone as soon as the next most expensive car comes along.

As far as color to go with the brown interior, my first choice would be a real light honey/sand color.

Dude, first of all...why would you want a women who only cares for what you drive? secondly, If your worried about it put a nasty small block in there or even better yet a big block. Then take em for a ride. Chicks Like danger:cool: . And as far as those high dollar cars go the soulution is simple... point the exhaust up so it chokes em at stop lights:evilsmile
