Column Shift Indicator Bulb

    okay how the heck do you replace this bulb? Really, you don't have to pull the column right? :hmmm:

    I took off the plastic cover and clear P R N D 1 2 piece and can clearly see the bulb...but see no way to get it out.

    A little help would be most appreciated. May kid has to turn on the dome light to see what gear she is in.

    Remove horn switch, steering wheel. Remove the turn signal lever and the screws on the turn signal switch and swing the TS switch out of the way. Remove lamp from the flange casting.

    Yep....got to pull the steering wheel and turn signal switch.

    Does anyone know of a brighter bulb? I replaced mine when I replaced the turn signal switch and it is still really dim. I know you can replace the ones in the dash but what about this one?
