If this car has never been wrecked or painted, how do they explain the Maverick front end on the car. I think the seller needs to do his home work a little more.

Looks to be pretty rare car indeed

Quote from seller: "It is a 72 Mercury Comet which looks a lot like the Ford Maverick."

    I would say so. :D

Quote from seller "This car would make a great GT or Grabber clone car!"

Hmm which way should I go GT or Grabber Clone? :D

I saw that car earlier and was going to comment on it but I figured you guys would be all over it soon enough. Remember that guy who used to be here on the board who called himself "Comick"? My black car is actually a Comick but i didn't want to copy him lol.

OK maverick/comet junkies here is the ? This is the second car that I've seen like this, the other car I saw in person and they stated that the car was all original. It also had a mav front with a comet rear and they were suppoesedly the second owner. I didn't believe it then but now I'm starting to wonder, could or did the very first comets have mav noses on them? Does anyone know for sure? Not trying to get flamed for the thought just wondering if any of the GURUS know for a fact.
