The red arrow ones are mounted mostly on plastic clips held on by studs welded to the car. There are a few holes in the body where a clip is bolted to the car.
That is what I was thinking.. I have found that most, if not all, bolted clips are usually at the tips or ends of trim.. The "studs" will look like a nail head.
I would look for the most solid, rust free car you can find. Trim can be easily removed....compared to removing rust.
The studs can be ground off, too. The ends of each piece of trim is bolted on and the holes could be welded shut. I have nice upper chrome strips for the doors and rear fenders if anyone is looking for these pieces.
