comfortable bucket seats

    hey yal, I'm new to this forum. My original 71 maverick bench seat is shot and I want some buckets, so I want to know what's comfortable and what will work?:bowdown:

    The only direct bolt in would be from another Maverick or Comet. Anything else would require some fabrication.

    I don't know if you are wanting to keep everything maverick on your car but I have probe buckets in mine. Really comfortable and very little work to get them in. Check out my link below for some pics!

    The secret to getting buckets into a Maverick is to keep them narrow. A couple of us use buckets out of 90s model Hondas, I have accord seats. They take a different approach to mounting them compared to using Probe seats, due to the different seat rail shape, but they are small and very comfortable.

    Escort seats work nicely with some modification. I really like the seats with the open headrests for safety harnesses that Summit sells. Checker and Pep boys sell them for $40 cheaper than Summit. If I didn't already have nice Grabber seats, I'd get some of those...
