Hello, I removed these cowl braces from my maverick while doing a cowl repair. I am having a very difficult time locating them in their original place. ( they just don't seem to line up perfectly) If I do a mustang II install are these necessary?
That's odd. Mine lined up perfect after doing my cowl repair. Yes you do need them. They keep the side aprons somewhat ridged and help support the hood hinges.
