creaking when driving

    how do I replace the bushings on my 76 2 door to make the creaking go away or is that even the problem any help would be awesome

    Did you grease the bushings when you put them in? Also, could be the spring saddles. Those things will drive you nuts.

    mine does that and it is the spring perch bushings on the drivers side.

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    I would guess that it's the upper control arm bushings at least 80% of the time. Actually it has been 100% of the time for all the ones I have fixed. I've done it each way before too, put holes in the shock towers, used the 90 degree fitting, and just replaced them before. Fixed it regardless. (y)
