   I got the currie solid pinion bearing spacer for my 8" rear. What determines the total height(how many shims to use)? Can I measure the height of my old crush sleeve or what. I will have a friend set this up but I don't think he is familiar with the solid spacer.

   That makes good sense. I guess I will have to purchase an inch lbs torque wrench. Thanks
