i am making a front grill out of a heat sheld off of a diesel it's the crome ones that you see on the side of them i will post pic's
did you leave some spare metal? you could take a ball peen and hammer it lightly on a corner of something that has a metal 90 degree edge and work it into matching the hood line\bumper..... that should help with the look IMO...
i still have to make the lower bracket so it sits flush like this i think it makes a diff after before YEAH OR NAY
How far back can you push it? Explore contrast. Dull/ shiny, smooth / rough, depth. Shiny is hard to work because even small dents make so much visual disruption. You really have to use professional methods and tools to keep from making a poor bend that deflects light. Also it has to be lined up perfect. Cut it down, push it back, and make a frame that will mask the edges. Try angling the top forward. You'll get a subtle glint from time to time that will call attention to the pattern of the heat shield. I'd try fiberglass for the frame. I don't know how much work you want to put into it. It's got some potential. Good luck.
