Dark Shadows preview

I went to the movies today and while watching the preview for the Dark Shadows I thought I saw a Maverick/Comet so when I got home I checked and sure enough there's a blue small bumper mav/comet. Its at 42 seconds for about a second.

 

my mom uses to watch "dark shadows" soap opera back in the day when I was a small child

 

I used to rush home from school to catch my daily dose of Dark Shadows

This new movie has been made as a comedy so I don't know how that will work out yet with the hard core fans of the original series. I just recently started watching the original series all over again on You Tube.

 

They actually show it like 3 times during the movie. Never a very good shot but you can tell its a maverick at least.

I swear i've seen that preview like 50 times already and I never noticed the maverick till now

 

Watching the movie right now, and there appears to be a big bumper 77 or so maverick parked in the background, then the small bumper blue one drives by so TWO in the scene at one time.

Same scene posted in the trailer. In the movie, it occurs at 10:48.

My wife has made me watch the scene three times now!

 

I've got the DVD sitting here...haven't watched it yet.

 

It was a pretty good movie. We just got it out of redbox.

 

I saw that too. Looked at it over and over and decided either the blue maverick has the wrong bumpers or the big bumper wasn't really a mav. they never showed it again.

 

The movie was supposed to be taking place in 1972, so if it WAS a big bumper maverick, it must have come back from the future!

 

Guess you didn't hear? Doc Brown originally had the flux capacitor in a 77' maverick, but he wanted something with more "style"

 

So he went with a DeLorean? I see WAY more Deloreans around here than I do Mavericks, so mavericks have more style, in my book.
