I've read the threaded discussions on replacing the 194 bulbs in the front instrument dash panel, but my arms are too big to reach up under the dash to pinch the speedomenter cable and remove it. Suggestions? It is way up there.
I want to install the brigher bulbs.

If all else fails, you can disconnect the cable from the transmission (be prepared to loose some ATF) an pop the little clip loose from the frame so that you can pull the cluster out with the cable still attached to give you enough room to get it loose from the cluster. I had to do that with a Comet in the junkyard.

Lance, that's bizarre. Until he left the shop a few months ago, I too worked with a big guy named Joe. He was about 6'3" and around 260lbs
