I'm planning on filling in all the cracks in my dash with bondo, sanding it, and maybe applying a layer of fiber glass and then painting it. Has anyone used this or any other method of fixing a cracked dash (besides a dash pad or new dash)?

Oh man I COMPLETELY misread the thread title..

I used bondo but used too much hardening compound and the dang repairs cracked LOL

Look in the tech section. There is an article about redoing a dash pad.

Powerblock TV detailed a way to do a dash pad repair in their Blue Collar Buick project. There is some specialty filler that they used. Perhaps you can catch a back issue online.
