    a 1972 restored green maverick with a v-8 and grabber hood.
    is it done,are there any pics of it done? did he race it yet. i am curious as i sold it to him(after doing nothing with it). thanks---george

    Yes he did! Was trying to get some pics up, but still have some problems doing that. May have a pic now.
    car ran best of 3 runs was a 10.41 129 mph. Was figuring on a flat 10. Only 3 runs, first had shifter set wrong rpm 5 grand, was not good run. second run was the 10:41 and third was eliminations, car jumped on me red light an down hill from there.
    Got a track rental on the 9th so I'm hoping to get car ran in an fine tuned!
    Will try an do better with pics an post more! Car kept me very busy getting all ready an haven't been here much

    Sure looks like it leaves okay. Nice pic Dave. I'm sure that 10 flat will be there when you get the bugs worked out. Or will we see 9's.(y)

    Rain rain dang rain,, Haven't got to run another day yet with weather! This Friday have another make up rental day,, hoping to get car run in with a full afternoon of free running. Hoping to get my flat 10.0s
