Here's a very rough photoshop drawing of one of the many ideas for an instrument cluster. My desperate attempt to squeeze 6 gauges in there. Any comments or suggestions?
the one thing with gages is people forget that the stearing wheel crosses the line of sight. the bottom two outer most gages most likely will be blocked. now i know its not a great feat of human dexterity to move our head to see them but i have had gage that were blocked by the wheel and it just got anoying.
great idea i think the little gages will get in the way of the mounting points. all in all a good idea tho.
Didn't think about that. I guess it would depend on the size of the wheel too. Right now with the stock gauges I have a small wheel that gets in the way of the speedo and it drives me nuts. I have a bigger wheel to put on but can't because the previous owner installed seats that are up too high and I wouldn't be able to fit my manly legs under the wheel I would like have a piece of plastic with six holes in it styled like the original but it may be easier to do a smoked plexi-glass panel the same size/shape as factory.
