Disk brake rear end

    First I'll give you the obligatory "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION" bit

    Long answer yes, with an if. Short answer no, with a but.

    It'd take a bit of work to get it to fit i.e. welders, new axles, cutters etc. It probably doesn't even have posi coming from a v6 stang

    Yeah but its not worth it. The 7.5 is the light duty rear end, you notice he said it was behind a 6 cyl. Most of the guys swap these out for the 8.8 with disk brakes if they go to a 5.0 conversion. This rear end is weaker then the 8" that is currently in your car.
    Also this rear end is wider then the one in your car so it would need to be narrowed to the correct track width or else you would have to have a big offset on the wheels in the rear. Of course there is also the time involved in cutting the coil spring brackets off and welding leaf spring perches on too.
    Its easier to buy a 5 lug axle and convert it to explorer 8.8 disk brakes...Have you converted the fronts to disk brakes yet?
